2006-05-06: I love Mountain Hardwear!

The 2-day warehouse sale ends tomorrow (Sun., May 7th), and it lasts from 10-3. Get in line by 9:15 to make sure you have a good shot at finding everything you want. Discontinued items, prototypes, and sample items may be found here. Mari and I met up with Mimi and Keith, and you can see we scored pretty well this time around.



Tips:
1. Bring friends or family, and let them know what you're looking for, so they can keep an eye out for your wishlist items.

2. Skim the area quickly, and grab a bunch of items off the rack and out of the boxes. Once your arms are full, walk off to an area away from the crowd and make your pile. Have one person always watching the piles.

3. Wear shorts and a t-shirt. I took off my pullover and jeans to try things on while avoiding the two changing "rooms", which were constructed of fabric and PVC tubing and elbows.

4. Get on their mailing list so you can find out about future warehouse sales.
