2006-06-29: Dean Karnazes at Sports Basement

After a quick 4-mile jog along Marina Green and Crissy Field, I met up with Mari in the Presidio at Sports Basement. Ultramarathoner Dean Karnazes spoke for about an hour on ultrarunning. Self-deprecating humor was frequently heard during this mostly lighthearted talk.


Dean is close to 4% bodyfat, so he pretty makes anyone next to him seem unhealthy. Case in point...
